Using Reflex Blue when Printing Written by Ashley "The Print Meister" Baker on 2/07/2009 2:38:01 PM

Reflex blue is a fairly common colour that our clients use in their print jobs.  There are a few things to watch out for when using this colour that you should be aware of.  Firstly, this ink takes considerable longer that the normal CMYK inks to dry and you need to let any job printed with this blue sit for at least 24 hours before doing any finishing on it.  Keep this is mind the next time you've got a rush job that you need to get printed!

Also, if you're using the ink on a matt stock, it's really important to specify a satin sealer.  This will seal the ink on the page and ensure that you don't get any marking during finishing and binding.

Our team are happy to help with any printing questions that you have, just give us a call.
